Geocaching

A few years ago I discovered a new and exciting “game” to occupy my time while I was traveling. It is sort of like the old game we use to play as kids where we are given clues to a place in the neighborhood and we must go and find that place to get a prize. The biggest difference is that what we use to play in the neighborhood we now play in the world.

The “game” really started to boom when the government lifted the randomness that was inserted into the GPS signal and with that the GPS that we have all grown to know and love has an accuracy of less than 10 feet. Now you get to within just a few feet of the location that you are looking for and do it regularly.
